Our evening menu changes on a regular basis and this week (21.8.2019) our menu consists of:

Starters/Snacks

Broad Bean & Chickpea Falafel

Cheesy Nachos with Fresh Salsa, Sour Cream and Jalapenos

Feta and Spinach Pastries, Tzatziki

Mains

Pan Fried Pork Loin Steaks and Apples: Cider and Mustard Sauce, Mashed Potato, Green Beans.

Rosegate Farm Double Lamb and Mint Burger: Two patties, Halloumi, Lettuce, Red Onion, Tomato, Tzatziki Dressing in a Toasted Brioche Bun.

Ham, Egg and Chips.

Vegetarian Burger: Meat-Free Burger, Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Burger Relish, Garlic Mayo in a Toasted Brioche Bun.

Small Plates: Small Ham, Egg and Chips, Chicken Strips or Fingers with Fries and Peas or Mash.

Desserts

Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream.

Catalan Orange and Almond Cake (GF) with Spiced Orange Syrup, Clotted Cream Ice Cream.

Eton Mess Stack: Meringue, Berries and Cream.

Jack's Gelato Roasted Almond Ice Cream with Clementine and Almond Florentine Crumb.

Ice Cream: Coffee, Rhubarb Crumble, Eton Mess.

Our Sunday lunchtime mains menu is subject to change on a weekly basis, but typically consists of the following:

Roast Rosegate Farm Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Potatoes, Cauliflower Cheese, Vegetables and Gravy.

Roast Chicken with Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Potatoes, Cauliflower Cheese, Vegetables and Gravy.

Courgette and Red Pepper Quiche served with a Green Salad.

Vegetable Wellington with Roast Potatoes, Cauliflower Cheese, Vegetables and Vegetarian Sauce.

BUFFET MENUS

We have plenty of space for private dining such as weddings, birthdays or anniversary celebrations. We can provide a sit-down meal or a buffet, or an Afternoon Tea for a special occasion.

Our buffet packages are suitable for any gatherings. Cambridge City Crematorium is only one mile away which makes catering for a funeral wake also very convenient.

A sample buffet menu is below:

Sandwiches (on white and seeded bread):

Beef, Horseradish and Watercress

Cheddar Cheese and Caramelised Onion Chutney

Ham and Grain Mustard

Cream Cheese, Cucumber and Chive

Homemade Sausage Rolls (served warm)

Crudités and Dips

Two sweet things, such as Lemon Drizzle and Ginger Cake

£9.25 per person

A broader selection of buffet items, such as Hot Chicken Strips and Sweet Chilli Sauce, Pork Pies and Homemade Piccalilli, Mozzarella Sticks and Garlic Mayo, Quiches or Cheese and Crackers, can always be added should you wish. We are also happy to cater for any particular dietary requirements given adequate information in advance.

For buffets, we offer unlimited teas, coffees and fruit juice at £2.75 per person. Other beverages can be provided to suit. If within our licensing hours, the Bar would be open (or can be by request) and we can provide a range of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines or champagne alongside beers, soft drinks and spirits.

We appreciate that often individual requirements are different and as such we are always happy to discuss possible options with you. We can be flexible in providing a menu to suit, so please do contact us.

We do not charge extra for the use of our rooms. Subject to numbers and availability, we would be happy to hold your event on a Monday or Tuesday when we would otherwise be closed.
